We are reliant on the hard work of our dedicated volunteers who give their time.
We have a Board of Trustees, which bears all financial and legal responsibility for the Trust’s activities and an Executive, which supports the Trustees by undertaking the day-to-day running of the charity, including the organisation of the holidays themselves.
Dr Trevor Fernandes
Trevor is a GP in Hertfordshire who studied at St John Beaumont, and has taken part in many SJHCT holidays over the years. Trevor believes passionately in the model of the charities work which benefits children, parents and helpers.
Anne-Catherine Buxton
Anne-Catherine has worked for the Trust since she was 16 – starting as a helper and now as a Trustee. She is the Treasurer and General Administrator, helping with the organising of the Holidays especially the Children. She is aIso a Welfare Officer for a sports club and a Parish Councillor.
Charlotte Newton
Charlotte is a teacher and has been a trustee for several years and involved in the charity for over a decade. She still regularly attends the holidays as a carer for the children and greatly values the experience. Charlotte has organised several holidays and is also heavily involved in fundraising, particularly for the fundraising ball.
Chris Daniel
Chris is a solicitor based in the City of London and has been working for the charity as a carer for children on the holidays for almost 15 years. He has led several holidays and has been a Trustee for a number of years.
